Festool is a very very clever marketing machine and it seems many around the world have the same addiction as I......guess I have an addictive personality like many others too

Love to hear others and their Festool addictions, mine started out with. Domino 500 and like heroin  I was hooked from that day forward........

I think my first was the C12. Bank account has gone ever since. But I could not be more happy on every purchase I have made. Festools are. Joy to use.

Hi

I am relatively new to the festool family and could not agree more, fantastic tools and a joy to use.

Just need to win the lottery to buy all on my wish list

My favourite is the kapex....no the ts55..... wait....!

I cannot fault any and have a domino xl on order which i cannot wait to put to good use!

Mine started with my Christmas gift from my fiancé. Now? I swore I'd never buy the Syslite and guess what???? Yeah right!

I purchased my first Festool a year ago, I was using BoschDeWaltMakitaetc.etc. for years but found there is a much better way... In fact I think Festool is way better than everything else in every possible way. So over the last 12 months I've replaced most of my tools I've had and used for years with Festool and I'm delighted with every single purchase.

It's a condition I call Festool Obsesstool.
The only cure is another Systainer...

Yep the best way to cure the addiction is too buy everything they make, which I am sure many here are working on ....lol

Hi Ian, curious to know what sort of work you do, and what part of the UK are you?
Regards John

Did cross my mind..lol

Hey chrisk1970 where do you find a woman like that! She's very pretty so you would get a good price for her, just the thing to increase your tool collection ......lol

Not sure how to respond to that
If I had to guess my award winning personality and rugged good looks.

Ian .thats a serious amount of tools in a year .and i thought i had a problem

ill be happy if im anywhere near that when i retire (probably about 20years time lol)

I needed to refinish my kitchen cabinets. The old DeWalt and Ryobi left a mess. I stumbled onto Festool and got the RTS 400 and a CT. After using the RTS and CT on one door I immediatly ordered the ETS 125 and then freefall. If they were not so good there would not have been freefall.

ChrisK don't worry mate it was a joke! Us aussie's have a weird sense of humour.".....sort of like .."What do you do with your 40 yo wife?

"Trade her in for  two 20 year olds" !

Lol

Im addicted, when i young & 1st started out my father bought the 1010 router & the 850 planer, took them out of the box & told me "festool are to tools, like rolls royce are to cars" i was drawn in & hooked after that sentence & after using them have built up my collection since that! For me they help you enjoy your work & leave a quality finish when using them in a quick & time efficient system no matter the tool.

Over here, the rest of the joke concludes with the wife telling you "you're not wired for 220"......
Lol

I am unfortunately triply or quadrupaly addited gardening,photography,music,Festools/woodworking..

Right now I'm focusing on the tool side of things.. See my signature...

My Festool flavor of the month is the RO90.... Last month I bought the CXS drill after I swore I do not see what is so special about a drill.....

Whats your verdict on the CXS! Do the batteries last long when doing a lot of work

Cealan, Can't tell yet as I haven't used the CXS for an extended period of time. But is feels very good in your hand, is pretty light and the right angle attachment is a joy to use.
