Well  did my first roadshow today at Highland Hardware in Atlanta GA  and taught class on how to make a built in. and mainly using festools !  well it was a paid class for the attendees and I had 10 students show up so that was not bad at $85.00 each.  Heck Festools only gets 8 at there classes  !!!!  lol  just kidding.

and had a great time and everybody loved the class and the teacher !!!!!  here are a few pic, and will post more later, we took 400  ha ha. and video to !!  Festool you will love these pics i will post later

That is a great idea buddy. Im glad you thought of it. Festool is a great system and as we all know the only real training is from festool them selves. Hopelfully more people will put on classes for different types of things.

here are some more pictures from my class, showing the set up and believe it our not I still have more tools at my shop I did not bring, but I did bring my full set up to the class and everybody just loved how the festools worked, sucked up dust and knocked down sheet goods.  I let the participants have a try at the rail saw, since that was one of the most impressive things they liked next to me !

Kreg,

[thumbs up]

By the way, why didn't you wear your Blaklader kilt for your ceremonial first road show?

Very cool Kreg! [thumbs up]  Did you build a complete unit or just highlight the important steps?

Brice. I built pretty much a complete unit trim , fluting,  crown. Dental molding too

The class was. 9-5. Hour of lunch and breaks

Thanks everybody for all the kind words!

I was going to ask how many of the participants were FOG members.

I've been trying to get Kreg to do one of his youtube videos wearing the Blaklader kilt but so far he has been uncharacteristically silent on the idea.

p.s.  Kreg, nice job!

Here s a comment that was posted over on another site I am on

I attended the class, enjoyed it very much & learned quite a bit. I also learned that Kreg only works to support his festool habit. I am contemplating an intervention. I think that I will make him quit cold turkey & substitute all of my tools for his. I know you are all shocked that I would make this sacrifice but my many years as a health educator makes is impossible for me to stand by & watch.

Thought that was good!

Kilt!

Sure why not. Got to buy one soon just to make you guys happy!
