Alright, its really my second, but the first one was thrown together the day I got the Domino and it had faults I couldnt live with, so we burned it. These are the first drawers in my entire shop and I had too many small things laying around, so thats a big improvement. The rest of the shop is mostly open shelving, which will be burned shortly as my plans to take over the world finally come to fruition. Its an Incra LS Positioner, Woodpeckers table, Incra Plate, and Triton 3 1/4 HP. If I did it again I would have shelled out the money and got a good lift, but the access panel is held by rare earth magnets and is easily set aside. Very pleased with the set up overall. Got a lot of store bought jigs I use(dont tell anyone at JLC) in the big drawers and some sandpaper. They are 26 1/8 x 28 full extension 100 lbs. The drawer sides are 3/4 Maple and 1/2 BB bottoms. They are heavy. The second small drawer is for router bit overflow, which in inevitable. I use double dust collection into a ct22 with a DD on a sys 5(not store bought, made it myself). I have one D50 going to the fence and one going to the router. On most applications there is zero dust. To finish up I am gonna run a rabbeted molding around everything and have the best painter in CT finish it. Should get around to it in the next two weeks and will post final pics, let me know what you think? Eric

Great table!  The Incra fences are outstanding.  [thumbs up]

Thanks Ron, I live in on of the thirteen original colonies also and thats something to be proud of. After this I am doing a Kapex cart and then an MFT cart. Its gonna be a busy summer. I was able to do this without the Domiplate, but after my first time using it Im sure its gonna help my accuracy which at sometimes has been less then desirable. Was a nine piece drawer front too much for a router table?

Thanks guys, it has been fun and Ive learned a lot too. Andvari, number two is harder then number one. We will be using Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo with four inch mini roller and brush in a special color scheme.....Got the CXS from Festool Products just in time to do the slides and drawer fronts. It has great power for such a small drill and is going to be an awesome addition to the c12. The feel of it is amazing. Soon to be the most used Festool I have, Eric

Its down to some 220 and a special tri color paint job, but things are going as planned. World dominance awaits me. I used the Miter Attachment on the Kreg miter stop to cut all the miters. I snuck up on a tight fit and used Collins Spring clamps to hold the miters while I used my Cadex Pin Nailer to shoot headed pins through the moldings. I would love to know what you guys think about it, its been fun to build, Eric

nice job.
what is that jig that the moulding is sitting on in th efirst pic

Alan, those are homemade extension wings for my miter station. They come everywhere with me. Some of my own ideas combined with examples on Gary Katzs website. I can post more pics if youd like? Eric

yes please. are those holes for clamps

Alan, i use those to clamp down material, mostly for attaching my crown stop board and clamping crown to edge to cope. Have used it for sanding and unwieldy pieces also. The next time i set up my stand I will try to remember to take pics for you. Eric

Prep work is done and topcoat looking to start asap, any suggestions? Eric

Wait til the paint job hits then you can critique. It is big, but Im an American, its how we roll. The bank of three drawers are 26 1/8 x 28" and i finally have got some organization going in the shop. Basically have router jigs in top, table saw and miter saw jigs in middle, and sandpaper in the lower. The bank of two drawers holds a full Sys1 router bit and a Sommerfeld Cabinet set. The bottom is open. Definite room for expansion which I plan to do. All this stuff was just strewn about the shop before this. I will have the final paint job up tomorrow evening and then it will be on to a UWB and MFT cart, Eric
