Okay I've got my shopping list ready last month it was Drill and Centrotec, this month I need some things to keep my small mobile setup organized and easy to use so I can get out the doorway and to work. I show my list here and will give a short explanation of each items use:

Festool SYS-Roll SYS-Roll 100
Artikel-Nr.: 498660 105,99 €*
I  actually can walk to some of my Jobs with my tools it takes about 10-15 minutes I use my Festool midi dust extractor but I don't want to continue doing this, the Sys Roll can carry more and is more robust..

FESTOOL Systainer with attic lid SYS 2 TL-DF # 497852

Artikel-Nr.: 497852 47,27 €*
I going to use a Sys 2 with attic lid as tool box where I'll make my own insert

FESTOOL Systainer Gr. 5 T-Loc # 497567 SYS 5 49,00 €*
I need a big box for cables, consumables safety gear, lunch..

Festool Arbeitsleuchte SYSLITE KAL II SET Li-Ion 199,99 €*
I going to take advantage of the relatively mild weather in the next few weeks to do some end of season painting jobs I set up a tent, and paint the garden furniture.. A Syslite will make it easier to see what I'm doing, and impress the clients!

Festool Systainer SYS 1 UNI Artikel-Nr.: 497692  41,99 €*
I need some organization for screws and fastners some of my extra bits, being a wet country I think I prefer to use the Sys 1 for such things instead of the toolbox, I may eventual get the sortainer 9 or 12 drawer, but I feel they are alittle bulky and expensive, so I'll wait on that for now..

Festool Systainer SYS-STF 93X178/93V
Artikel-Nr.: 497689 43,90 €*

I need to get set abrasive organization for the RS 300 sander, so this box will also take the disks for my Metabo 400 SE 90mm disks..

Suppose I have to add some abrasives for the RS 300 as well, I'll get 2 grits of 100 sheets each.. Brilliant 80,  Granat 150

Oh my local dealer had a box 50 sheets of Brilliant 2 80 gr, it came in very handy for my painting job to day. So now I'll just be missing the Granat 150, I wish I could get it in a 50 piece box, but nope 100 pieces only at 65 Euros! whew, two or three year supply at my usage, but the RS 3i00 EQ Sander has a ten year life span a least so I suppose it all works out in the end. It's a joy to use by the way...

Modified my buying list at least 6 times after thinking things through:

Festool SYS-Roll SYS-Roll 100 This is the main transporter for my gear, I'd like two but I'll start with one for now.. On site Sys carts would be more elegant but under transport this is going to be very effective, I can unload the SYS-Roll and roll it back for more...

Artikel-Nr.: 498660
x1 - 105,99 €*

Festool Arbeitsleuchte SYSLITE KAL II Li-Ion The SYSLITE is badly needed for a series of painting jobs I'll be doing outside in the relatively mild November evenings..

Artikel-Nr.: 500721
x1 - 159,00 €*

Festool Bodenpolster SE-BP Sys 1-5 TL This is for converting a couple of Systainers to tools boxes, I'll carry loose things like cables, safetly gear, clamps etc in them so I want something in the bottom to prevent rattling. Bodenpolster=Bottom cushion

Artikel-Nr.: 498045
x2 - 5,99 €*  - 11,98 €*

Festool Einsatzbox Box Sys1 TL 98x147 grü/2 Som extra larger boxes for the 2 Sys 1 Boxes I'm getting, I think I don't need that many small divider boxes so the green boxes are what I'm going for that amounts 4 extras. expensive extras too, but because of the time I waste waiting for delivery on the gear I can take a few hits in that department..

Artikel-Nr.: 498041

x1 - 7,99 €*

FESTOOL Systainer Gr. 4 T-Loc # 497566 SYS 4 I've decided on having movable  units that work out to a Systainer 5 so I'll keep my largest tool box Systainer to a size 4 and add a Sys 1 Box as a sort of super lid..

Artikel-Nr.: 497566
x2 - 46,05 €* - 92,10

Festool Systainer SYS 1 BOX The famous SYS 1 BOX seems like a nifty solution as you can just pull out the few boxes you need for the specific task and have them close at hand... Not cheap but effective and 2 of them are going to take care of all the small things needed in my setup.. I can remove a few of the boxes to make room for my Zobo bits box etc...

Artikel-Nr.: 497694
x2 - 51,24 €*  -102,48 €*

FESTOOL Systainer Gr. 3 T-Loc # 497565 SYS 3 I'll use the SYS 3 for my metabo sanders and grinder and accesories..

Artikel-Nr.: 497565
x1 - 42,90 €*

Festool Systainer SYS-STF 93X178/93V sandpaper systainer Works with my Finishing sand RS 300 EQ, and will all fit the Metabo SAE 400, 90mm sanders disk as well..

Artikel-Nr.: 497689

x1 43,90 €*

So I think this list is getting close to the final version for this time out.. I had thought of using the Systainers with attic lids for awhile but on reflection it seems like they actually don't take that much and are rather shallow, so the Sys Box 1 become my sort of super attic lids..

I don't want the whole setups individual parts to get to bulky and heavy so units that break down to around a SYS 5 size for moving up and down stairs or in and out of station wagons seem about right. a Sys 2 tool like the Carves combined with the Sys 3 tool box, the Sys 4 tool box combined with a Sys 1 box etc..

The Sys-Roll and the Sys Lite are both non Systainer type purchases that add quite a bit to the over all cost of this order, so all in all when I look at just the cost  of the Systainers I'm pretty pleased...

I'm not going for the Toolboxes or the Sortainers, I need to keep things buttoned up tight for bouncing around the streets , I don't really like the size of the small drawers on the sortainers as they are too shallow imo, The open Toolboxes let the rain or snow in, the new toolbox that you open out seems somewhat unstable, so I'll just stick with Systainers for now..If I did go for Sortainers I might get a couple of one row versions in keeping with my compact unit concept.. Hope I can find them in Festool light grey!

Sounds like a good start, BUT...

Be sure you plan for expansion. From my experience, these things multiply like tribbles...

You'll need to keep them in a locked room with the lights on 24/7.  Helps to keep the population down a bit...
