Six sanding sponges sponges for £3.40 seems like a good deal to me.  I've never purchased/seen a Festool sanding sponge, but I would have expected it to cost £3.40 for one sponge!

the sanding sponges are good. I have a 280 medium grit for sanding metal and paint and the 220 grit for paint, polyurethane and  wood.

Has anybody bought one of the new Bitbox? It is a microtainer with a bit holder and a nice selection of bits. The $45 price stopped my purchase for the moment.

I recently bought a small bit assortment but found out after the fact that they were not Centrotec. Apparently, the new impact D/D natively uses non-Centrotec. I kept them because they can be used in my, um...Harbor Freight...impact D/D but was disappointed as I wanted that shorter square drive bit to be Centrotec. I did suggest to the vendor that they description be updated to clearly indicate that this assortment was not Centrotec format.

The Sanding Sponges are something to keep a secret. If Festool know how good they were for the price compared to others they would double or treble the price immediately.  [wink]
