Here's my MFT station. It's still a work in progress. My floor slopes - too much to level the tables with one another. I chose prefabed benches from KREG. These are 44" x 28". Perfectly undersized as compared to the MFT. Future plans call for a third KREG bench and MFT. This will flank the smaller KREG bench creating a miter saw station.

I like this set up a lot, even if you take the MFTs off, you still have a nice work top. If I recall correctly, the Kreg workbenches don't come with a top, what did you use on yours under the two MFTs? And is that the Kreg Klamp Table I see under the closer MFT/3?

My apologies FOG. I didn't mean to create a new thread. I meant to add to an existing one.

Anyhow... the top is ¾" MDF trimmed to size. It's one piece to keep the two benches locked together. I don't need mobility. The MFTs are positioned so I'm still able to face clamp to them.

I intend on removing the two lower front cross braces. I want to be able to slide the vacuum and other things below the table.

And yes, that is a KREG clamp table.

Are the MFTs bolted to the Kreg workbench in any way, and/or to each other? Whats the aprox height you have the Kregs set at, or whats the overall working height with the MFT on top? Again, I REALLY like this set up! Thanks for sharing

I'm not home to measure, but I believe the finished height is about 42”. It's a good height for my 76” frame. One of the reasons I went with the Kreg bases was the height and level adjustability. I chose Kreg over Rockler bases for a specific size Rockler doesn't offer.

No, the MFTs are not anchored down. They are connected to one another with MFT connectors. They haven't slid around under load on me yet. Fastening them down is something I'm pondering. It would be good.

The small table is an extra Kreg table I had. It will hold my miter saw. Future plans call for another Kreg/MFT combo on the left. Together all four Kreg bases will create a nice work bench/mitre saw station.

I'm going to remove the front lower cross brace on the three large Kreg bases. I want to be able to roll things beneath the tables; such as the vacuum, sustainer's, etc.
