I designed this myself (with help by the Silver Shop) to celebrate/remember the day I became a citizen. Thought I share this.

It is solid Sterling Silver, roughly 4x5 inches. Hand engraved with copper and bronze details. Wearing it today for work.... Go TEXAS!

Both the design and the execution are amazing! Very nice!

It's also great to see how proud you are of your citizenship. A belated [welcome] to your new home!

Well the execution was not my doing. I can highly recommend the shop. See backside for name underneath mine.

Certainly proud to be a citizen (and last in a long line of immigrants to the US from my family, both mother and father side...). Got me some relatives in Green Isle, MN.... Lost contact with the ones in Fort Lauderdale...

If you ever get to MN to visit you won't be that far away. Let me know and we can grab a bite or something...

Do you have a Texas connection? I have a North Dakota and Minnesota connection...

Go TEXAS!

Being that I am German-American and the Germans invented BBQ (smoking meat) in Texas, I am as Texan as it gets... Would love to move there if I could find a job... Have one company in mind in San Antonio.

Channeling my inner Texan today. Besides the buckle I wear my Luchese boots I got from Paris Hatters in San Antonio.... No Stetson yet.. Only if I live in Texas.. Malte

Texas was heavily German/Czech populated when the Spanish Land Grants were available.

I agree that some of the best food is from the original families from that period. I "LOVE" OPA's sausage! It's made in Fredericksburg TX. The first time I had it in their Texas-style biergarten, I was hooked.

There are a lot of others around the state that "learnt" from that original good stuff...

Beautiful buckle.  And congratulations on celebrating the anniversary of your citizenship.

Congratulations!  My father, a native Berliner who spent WWII in a concentration camp in Southwest Africa during the war was almost as proud of his later citizenship here as you.  I witnessed his emotions in later years during events including the fall of the Berlin wall and also the US victory over the Soviet Union in Olympic hockey.  May your pride continue to grow.

All the best.

Peter
