I dito that!  and the Renault Woodguy just bought!    My van cost me £11 000 including Vat and I dont get the Vat back! I couldn't afford that extra 5400 unless I didnt bother with festool and all other higher end brands I go for! lol

lucky i get a van supplied to me which is a vivaro(basically a traffic) by the company i sub to and i use it on my own jobs

I looked at the Renault, MB Vito and a couple others while in Europe this spring. I would have bought the Renault also. Sure wish we had those over here. Our van selection here is still based on history, same basic van in all makes. The full size MB (Sprinter) has been available for a few years. It's a bit too large and expensive for me. I have a traditional Chevy Express van for now. Rather have a Ford though. We have gotten the Ford transit in the last two years though. Looked into those, too small for real work. Good for a service tech.

It's a 2.0 liter inline 4 cylinder with a 4 speed automatic tranny and a really large rubber band with a windup thingy as a backup.

Mostly v8's, a few V-10's and even some diesels, V-8 diesels.

The only thing we have close is the sprinter.

I feel creepy in a van anyways.

Yeah it is , you can go direct to Sortimo who make it and I was quoted around £500  [eek] i think just to line my VW T5 last year, I went with normal plywood needless to say

Ok, my last van was all racked out & i was carrying loads of stuff i didnt need to carry.  I have done a very basic shelving unit as when i go to a job i work out exactly what i am going to need.  I am sure i will get caught out some time but so far not to bad.

I still need to make 3 drawers for the bottom to keep silicone, glue ect, ect.

Ah, the t-lock is the CXS  [smile]  Not got one yet John ?

Speed, yea the green lipping does stop them falling out.  It only sticks up about 10mm but nothing moves.  It is easy to get everything out, just raise it up a little & slide out.  Did a test run on a prototype before i made this one.  It is tight for the sys4 though but only because i have a selection of hand tools in it & it is quite heavy.  In hindsight i would have left a little more height for that one but i manage it ok.

CXS  Nope not got one not getting one either. Next drill will be a C15 cant see point of Cxs. Just got a smashing little 10.8v Bosch impact driver. You get the link for the systainers latches.

The CXS is a good little drill as is the C15, two different animals altogether.  I was given the CXS so it did not cost me anything  [big grin]

Yea, got the link, thanks.  When i clicked on Systainer accesories it was blank so i will just call them tomorrow.

I phoned my dealer to ask if he had any of the old C12's.  He has one with the Li-ion batteries but no charger & wants £200 + vat for it.  Is that too much ?
