Hey Guys,

Been lurking around on the site for a while getting info on lots of great topics, bought a house in January and one of the first priorities was getting the shop up and running. Thought I would post a couple pics. Thanks for looking.

Nice set-up!

When are you going to start using it - it's WAY too clean?!

Excellent start! You have a ton of space up in the rafters for wood n stuff. Definitely use it!

He is using it! The TV is on!

Nice selection of tools. Must be using it for a car also.

Might want to make sure that door is locked when using the drill press.  As close as it is to the door, I'd be afraid of someone opening the door suddenly with a protruding workpiece... not really a good thing from a safety standpoint...

Table saw may need to be pulled out when using it on longer workpieces; you may have already accounted for that.

Otherwise... looks great...

You've got two under counter units at the left end of your mitre cutting bench. They look very similar, but the gap below the counter top looks different. Please explain ... it's doing my OCD in [sad]

Love the shop! [wink]

Looks like the floor isn't level judging by the wood underneath the castors and compressor, so I would guess it is an optical illusion brought on by that and the position of the photographer.

I can rest now! [wink] Thanks.

I should have zoomed in more myself.

Also, if you look at the top of each of those, there appears to be a larger gap further from the camera rather than closer - would expect the opposite if the floor were level.

Go Festool! Go Gladiator Cabinets! More of both needed....

As to the floor it makes sense that the floor slightly slopes to the garage door so water would run to the outside not into the house....

Thanks for the kind words guys...the floor does slope down, fear not though
The counter is flat though.

I thought about the kapex...but just bought 2 of the mft's and the of 1400
So it will have to wait.
