I have just built a workshop as part of my renovations ( pics to come) and all i had was a mft which was accumulating things put on it all the time. So i had some very old and dirty hardwood lying around the workshop that i have pulled out of peoples houses when i was renovating their place and i also had some pieces of meranti lying around to which i made the top with. I also found a old dawn vice at our farm which was under a tree in the paddock  ??? which i cleaned up and repainted.
All the joins were done with my domino XL (see it does have a use after all  [wink]) and it was oiled up using surefix. The hardest part of the build was cleaning up the old timber as i dont have a planer/jointer or a thicknesser i had to use my EHL 65 and Rotex 150, but it came up preety good any way it think

This is the one Saltan's wife might have kept in the kitchen!

Excellent work Locky.    [smile]

What height is it?

It has given me some thought as I have spent this week removing various types and species of recycled timber from under house, de-nailing, sorting and sanding/machining it and storing in workshop for future projects.  Reason is obvious fire risk and I am cladding under decks.

Now despite being a fellow Festool fan, I think you could have painted the Dawn in its traditional 'Indian Red'.  [eek]

Thanks guys, the height is of course 900mm so it works with kapex stand,MFT and cms. I have some kauri pine floor boards I pulled out of a house which I will make a base on the bottom supports

If it were me it would have already been cluttered with things. Would have had to clean it for photo session. Is there any kind of pill for this. I'm so tired of myself always filling every horizontal surface with stuff.
May the keep-tidy-force be with you Locky.
