Today I took some pictures from my latest project I do work on. It is a wooden solution to attach the York vise to my work bench, without drilling extra holes in the bench. And, it should be removable to attach it to an other position. The attachment is made from oak. I used the table saw to cut the wood into pieces of 40 x 45 mm and glued it together again with beko Fibcon 60. Now it has 3 layers and will get one more when I had the time (hopefully at the weekend) to make the preparations for attaching the vise to the construction.

After the clamps have been removed it was a simple 90 degree angle. May be I overturned a bit with the clamps  [unsure]

I like the MFT! Looks like you used some 40mm/80mm extrusions and a MFT top & then extended the work surface?

Do you use it much for cutting or mostly as a work bench? Any custom jigs to go with it? I have been thinking of doing something like this myself since my MFT never leaves the shop and I would like to have a larger, more stable work surface.

Thanks,

RMW
