My "PowerSys' build

There is one more outlet on the other side.  I thought I was going to store cords and other "power" related things in the L-boxx but the reality is it sits on the bottom of my stack and it's a pita to get into it so all it is is a power distribution box.  I really wish companies like bosch and festool would take this kind of design and incorporate a radio into as well.  It would sell like crazy.

here is an unfinished look at the inside.  Next time I dig it out I will get a better picture but you get the idea.  And the other side...

Has anyone thought about putting a cord retractor in the systainer? I thought it would make plugging in alot better as you don't have to manually wind cord.

I actually thought about this as I think it's a great idea ( I have them on the ceiling in my shop and love them)  but anything I could find locally took up a lot of real-estate.  I found one that would fit flat on the bottom but then there wasn't enough room for the plugs.  Stand it vertically and I would have to move up a box size and I already feel I am wasting too much space.

I went to my local recycle center, picked a vacuum cleaner with a working reel and adapted it for my syst radio, it works great.

Someone told me that Festool are due to bring their own take on a power extension dock in a systainer... Let's see if it's as good as the "Powertrainer 3"...
