I've been busy refinishing some old teak deck furniture this Sunday - my Rotex works weekends. One sheet of 80 Rubin and one of Granat 120 to get this bench in shape.

Just getting started on this one.

I think you and Eric are competing to win the 'sexiest Festool' photo award. I really like this as well. And what a perfect use of the RO90?

You both are so good I think I will be too ashamed to post my photos in the future!

Mine did this weekend.  Wife's new car.  8 hours detailing with Griot Garage products.  Really liked the RO150 for the polishing and waxing versus the Griot's polisher that I own.

I, too, am a fan of the Griot Garage products, but have you checked out www.adamspolishes.com? I got a sample and think I am going to switch to their stuff.

And I'm glad to see proof that I can use my RO150 for polishing and waxing. What pads did you use? With which speeds and settings?

Peter, tell me you didn't take the wheels off to detail the brake callipers [eek]

I don't have a Rotex but my Carvex works weekends!  I won't dare hijack this thread...

Wayne, I hope you're not referring to me?!  We need more photos!  I find the ones that are merely text just a bit bland…  While the content is great, it sure is a lot nicer to break it all up with an image!

Don't be ashamed, we all started somewhere!  Always remember, your best photograph is the one you're about to take!

Cheers,
Eric

Sorry Peter, couldn't resist after your scrolling 'campaign' for buy the Kapex a few weeks ago... [wink]

Eric,

You're welcome to join in - sounds like most people must have their feet up on the weekends :) Lets see what you've been up to with your Carvex. (I've been debating getting one)

Wow - thanks, and don't hesitate to post photos. We all love seeing what others are up to, and like anything it takes practice to shoot good photography. This is a friendly bunch.

My weekend was no Rotex. Borrowed him my brother. And doing it too often. I'll have to buy a new one. All the other players are involved in the game. The result is here.
A nice day to all.

Mine worked, Friday and saturday. Not sure what the last owner did, but it wasn't pretty. I've wanted it lighter for years.

That looks soooo nice now. Matches the woodwork and doors, too. Nice job!

Well, with my recent clamp splurge (I started a thread here), I decided to make a little clamp rack:

Great photos Eric.

And some good inspiration - just ordered my Carvex last night, and I too picked up some clamps this past week (Lowes was on my way home). Now I just need to find some plans for a clamp rack.

Actually I was, but it was a compliment. I won some wildlife photography awards in the past, but my skills pale next to yours.

But don't worry - my lack of skills won't stop me from posting pictures. They just won't be of the quality that you guys produce, and will probably come from my iPhone.

And nobody's gonna want a high res version to post on their walls!

[eek]

... and your comment was taken as you intended!  Thank you!  BTW, there is something on it's way to you! [tongue]

You're going to love the Carvex!  It's a wicked little tool!  Now I need a Rotex!

Maybe he used the extended delta attachment for the RO 90?!

The car looks Great Peter!

No I didn't do the brake calipers.  I do draw the line somewhere.  This car will get almost 200 miles a day, so my real goal was to create a base condition before I had to do corrective work.

Thank you for the compliments.  I hope to find time to start the Fesmobile on Sunday if I finish a job that I am behind on.  It will need remedial work.
