My weekend was no Rotex. Borrowed him my brother. And doing it too often. I'll have to buy a new one. All the other players are involved in the game. The result is here.
A nice day to all.

That is refined way to hide small defects production.  [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

Thank you very much.

Have a nice day for all.

Dragged a tossed out Big Green Egg table home from a dealer that had used it to its limits.
All Cypress, needed some new boards in places, and am in the process of sanding it this week.
1 1/2 hours with my Rotex 150.
several layers of finish to remove, stain and varnish. 60 Cristal in Rotex mode, then again in Random Orbit.
switched to 80g Granat, same Rotex mode followed by ROS. Finally, Rubin 2 in 80 grit for now, as I need to anchor those really short boards next to the outer long boards with some bracing underneath before I do anymore sanding.
The table makers thought shooting staples horizontally through them and into the outer boards would keep them from leaning downward since they're only really attached securing at the other end of the board, to a cross brace underneath.

Mine worked, Friday and saturday. Not sure what the last owner did, but it wasn't pretty. I've wanted it lighter for years.

That certainly worked out very well.  I really love a red oak floor with a natural finish on it.
