My TS55REQ bevel stop fix

I have been saving up to buy a TS 55R-EBQ for a while, while checking them out in my local store.

Having read about the issues leveling the saw to zero degrees I noticed that the saw at my dealer had an extra leveler at the front (the weight rests on the leveler), turning it outwards  passes the zero degre stop and goes to -1. Problem solved!

Well, thats not it though..

Checking through the EKAT catalog I did find it here (item 77):
500602 - TS 55 REBQ 230V

However thats not the latest model, in the successor the leveler is gone again:
500898 - TS 55 REBQ 230V

Odd!

Are there any other differences between the #500602 and #500898 TS55R models? What is the current model available now?

I did some checking with Festool DK, and they confirmed that the #500898 model had this lever. They also said that the #500602 and #500898 models are equal and that the P/N change is due to production date. Seems like the EKAT is missing those parts as [member=41548]hobus[/member] mentioned.
