This is my wife's joke:

When Festool makes a higher line they seem to add EX Planex, Rotex, Kapex, Shinex, Carvex.

So why aren’t the vacuums CleanEX and the Domino plungeEX?

Because those lines of products weren’t original Festool inventions, I guess (but acquired from other parties).
