Super limited quantities, once they're gone, they ain't coming back.  Get'em while they're hot boys.  Festool racktainers.  Compare to Tanos racktainers at almost $250.

Should be ready to ship early next week.  Less than 20 in bound.

I'm considering making some NAINA stickers with a big line going through'em ;)

Festool 476796 Limited Edition Racktainers

Spendy, but a useful item.  Hrrmm...

Are the drawer slots/walls adjustable size?  Or are you stuck with the 15/17 spots?

Is the handle of the slotted "Festool Classic" variety, or the solid 'Tanos' style?

Why not just "AINA"?

I just left for the day, I'll have to get back to you tomorrow on the adjustability, but if I remember correctly from when I had the Tanos racktainers for systainerworld.com they were not adjustable to any configuration you'd like.

As for the slotted handle, I'm not sure, will have to let ya know when they arrive.

NAINA (Not Available In North America) has been temporarily changed to NAINA (Now Available In North America).

Cool!

I really wanted a set of those, but...

Thanks Sean.
Just to be clear, I'm interested in the adjustability of the *interior* of the boxes.  Not the drawer boxes themselves (e.g. height, spacing, etc).

I have a bunch of bolts, nuts, picture hanging crap, toggle and barrel bolts, lock and cap nuts, etc etc that would be much happier organized.
But some of the bolts and lag screws are lengthy.

Wood_Junkie   If  remember the tanos racktainer the plastic dividers were not adjustable and it had a classic handle config
I bet Sean will get back and confirm more tommorrow

Ain't avail in NA (AANA).  Can't get dat here (CGDH).

Nevertheless, the racktainer looks nice.  Are the drawers made of metal or plastic?  Is it better than a Sortainer, or just something different?

Hi,

Unless something has changed the rack units have 15 or 17 individual , modular boxes in them.  Not adjustable dividers, but you could rearrange the boxes. Eack small box is a given size.  The units are not drawers , they are removable , similar in size to a Plano.

I am pretty sure the rack units are made by another organizer company called Raaco.

Yes, yes and yes.  Thanks for filling the boys in on this stuff Seth.

I don't have the full unit here yet, but I do have some of the older "drawers" from the Tanos units.  They actually are made by "Raaco."

There are 8 small boxes that measure 2 x 3"

4 of the boxes measure 1.5" x 4"

4 of the boxes measure 1.5" x 2"

1 box measures 4" x 3"

Yes, the boxes are easily moved around into whatever configuration you'd like within the drawer (remember, the drawer can be fully removed and held on it's own like a small case).

You can buy extra boxes of different sizes from Raaco if you want to change the inner layout of the units. Don't know if they're available in America though.

I don't believe they are available here.

I don't know him, but if that racktainer sells, mine go on eBay the day they arrive.  [big grin]

to me that looks a bit suspicious. the seller has a good feedback. he/she has in their posestion a less common part of the system . if they bought it themselves the must know a lot about festool and how it is worth spending all that money. but yet they dont know how to spell the name of the thing. i could be wrong , they could be selling it for a friend but a it doesnt feel right to me
