You're very welcome.

Yes, questions:

Sean, you posted:
There are 8 small boxes that measure 2 x 3"
    4 of the boxes measure 1.5" x 4"
    4 of the boxes measure 1.5" x 2"
    1 box measures 4" x 3"
-- Is that in EACH case tray?  Or is that the total for the entire unit?

-- What is the "Sys" height?  Looks like probably a Sys 4.  Is that correct?

-- Can you post some pictures of the interior, with some of the boxes removed and shown up close.

-- The boxes sound to be the same sizes as those in the Sys1 Box (the screws box).  Is that an accurate comparison?

Sean,

I guess it might also be helpful to know if you still have any since they were extremely limited in quantity.

Each tray has this assortment.

Yes, a sys 4 height

Peter, yes there are a few more available.  I'd say this weekend / next week they'll all be gone.

Inside of a case and a nice beauty shot that shows the interior as well.  The little nubs on the right side are the spring loaded "catches" that hold the drawers in place.

That looks a lot more practical for carrying screws than the sortainers, because of the lid over each drawer.

I have had drawers on my sortainers jam when screws get lodged in the underside of the shelf above.  I have not had to break a drawer yet to get it open, but I can see it happening if they are more than 1/2 full.  [tongue]

Wonderwino:  You are so right , I have now emptied my one stainer with my pocket screw into this new toy.
Its great and I can see me using it more as it has no draw issues with screws.
For me and my cabinetmaking I will set up this unit for all my needs. I do like my Racktainer
Sal

the title of this implies that this is available aoutside of NAINA land. i dont see it on the festool ireland page. has anyone got any links to a eu supplier

I couldn't find the Racktainer on Festool Europe sites anymore, but they were available at one time.  You can find them on Tanos sites, but they will not have the green Festool logo or the green latches.  Racktainers from Tanos

Being on the West coast, I just got mine yesterday. I'm even more  pleased than I thought I would be.

These are going to come in very handy.

Hey John, thank you for the business.  Greatly appreciated.

Is your avatar picture a picture of yourself?

No, when I put up my own photo I got too many PMs begging me to take it down, so I found one of a guy who is younger and more handsome.  [big grin]

This statement makes me happy.  Looks like mine is due to arrive Thursday and I've been feeling buyer's remorse.  I've got to schedule some shop time, get organized, and find all the doo-dads that will find a new home in the Racktainer.

WoodJunkie,

I know what your Avatar is, but it kind of makes me think I am gonna see a Tele-Tubbie any second.  I am missing your old Krazy Keyboard operator again.

As for John Rafferty, I have to stop reading his replies.  People I work with want to know what I am chuckling about.  I think they think I am nuts.

And speaking of nuts, Tool-Nuts that is,  Sean Ackerman, I know I have said this before, but he and his staff are great.  I bought a Powermatic Bandsaw from him a few months ago and could not be happier with the purchase.  Great source to consider for quality tools and hardware.
