need advise for wall paneled walls

Looking to do floor to ceiling wall paneling red oak. going to finish with rubio precolor easy black followed by rubio oil in white.
its in basement and will be used as a cigar/bourbon/wine room. i was going to install red oak 3/4" plywood sheets to walls into metal studs then trim out with 1x4 rails and styles.  my question is would you domino or pocket screw the rails and styles like faceframes then install large wall sections or can i get away with just face nailing the 1x4 to plywood? below is the style i was looking to do.

The metal studs may be the part you have to deal with the most. No nailing there, so you are stuck with screws and covering them with the trim.

I would probably go for something like THIS so there are no visible fasteners. Looks like you should be able to face nail the top and bottom rails behind the trim.  So the panel fasteners will be mostly for the stiles and the mid rail.  I would domino and glue as much as possible so joints stay nice and tight.  Make a jig to drill the panel fasteners all the same and use it to drill the 3/4 ply onsite should go pretty fast.  Not sure if its just me but does the double stile look odd to anyone else opposed to just single vertical stiles throughout?

I assumed that they were doors? but yeah, if not, I would get rid of that detail.
The thing that struck me as odd was the joints in the crown? why so many?

I noticed the crown too but figured that was just someone getting excited with a pencil.  I know why they had the double stile, so they could panelize everything and it makes sense from a construction stand point but it Looks odd to me and once that wood starts moving especially in a basement environment any movement is going to show up like a sore thumb without any type of revel between them. I would panelize every other section and rough cut the 3 filler rails a little (1/8") long and have everything dominoed then just make a trim cut onsite to account for any jobsite oddities.

Thanks for input. The rendering was from cabinet guy the quote was $60k so I will be doing it myself. I will eliminate the double rails. It’s just the layout I was looking to do. I am essentially going to screw the 3/4 ply into studs then attach rails and styles to plywood so I don’t need to worry about the metal studs at all.  Is the consensus to attach all together like face frame then attach? I just figured if I face nailed all the trim separate it would save me a lot of time. I was thinking of possibility even getting a Zeta P2 just for this application and just clipping styles and rails onto ply?

Yes, thats what I was saying earlier If every other panel is assembled in the shop in a face frame fashion then the 3 rails in between every other frame will be installed on site but I would have everything dominoed ahead of time or fastener of your choice (lamello) I dont know if I would use the Lamello but Ill let others who own it chime in on that.  The reason I am shying away from clamex connector is I thought there was a little play with those so the faces might not plane out perfectly flush. Where as a Domino will/should do a good job keeping those faces nice and flush.

One thing Im not sure of, is the "3/4 ply" you are screwing to the studs red oak 3/4 ply or are we talking something like BC, MDO etc. with a 1/4" red oak panel in the frame? I ask because it looks like there will be a decent amount of area in the field that cant get screwed.  If you/they install a a 3/4 "substrate you can screw everything off with no worries and then cover the screws with 1/4 rabbited into the stile and rails.
