Tinker said:Richard, We have been out quite a bit latey. Ever since i was 38, i have refused to plow driveways until the storm has just about ended. We run into all sorts of fun plowing when the windshield wipers can't keep up and our mirrors get all iced up. We become part of the problem instead of the solution. Today, we started plowing at around 9am as there was only a very light rain. By noon, it had stopped and we had clear sailing until about 2:45 when a near blizzard hit. Our other driver had fished hir route and i had told him to go home so he could get up early to do the sanding. bout the time he headed down the pike, I was caught in white out. I could not see either front or behind. I still plowed four more drives but had to quit. i was backing into snow banks and almost tangling with trees. Still two undone. That spit deposited almost 3"'s in less than an hour. All the hillside drives will need to be plowed again, so I'll be going out about 3am. Great relaxation. [wink]

At the risk of repeating myself, stay safe. Still planning to swap some tales with you on a porch somewhere.
