"Never have a tool stolen again"

I see a potential of adding a secret locking feature for the drawers if it's not already there.

A lumber thief with a forklift might inadvertently change your headline.

Use Big Box lumber for some of the pieces and hopefully the bananas would deter even a lumber thief.

Very clever and perhaps too well-crafted to be 100% believable. You will have to use some self-restraint and not use your carpenter’s square to make this more realistic.

On the same mind-set, I carried thousands of dollars of camera equipment in my car always in a large Igloo cooler. The camera bags went inside the cooler along with the camera equipment.  The film benefited from the insulated environment—a side benefit.

I have a cooler large enough to hold two Systainers.  I, however, never travel with my Festool saw.

It is a rare thief who will break into a car thinking to steal a ham and cheese sandwich and a can of Coke.

As an aside, my IPad now recognizes “Systainer” and will fill it in if I start typing “Syst…”.  I don’t know when that happened, but I just noticed it now.  Despite the software (or A.I.) suggesting the word “Systainer”, the spell checker continues to flag the word as a misspelling.

I do think IRL the drawer gaps would give it away. A better design would involve thicker drawer fronts that use the 2x4 boundaries. That way the drawer gaps would look like boards not perfectly stacked.

But, fun and kudos to whoever did this for the effort involved.
