I stand corrected. The price reduction is for a Trion & CT package. All the CT packages are similarly reduced in price.

Sorry for raising any hopes!

The price for the CT MINI and CT MIDI are both going up $40. The discount for the packages increases by $4 as a result because the package discounts are 10% of the price of the Dust Extractor. The packages are not reduced in price.

Are there going to be any Spring promotions this year aside from the RO 90 debut?  In other words, are there going to be any discounted tools (10% discount) in March?

The Shinex is coming, the Shinex is coming...

We should also have more new tools in late Spring.

Any word on the Festool Deck Fastening clips being available this year in NA?  Preferably before summer is in full swing.

Well, one thing the darn refurb campaign has done is drop the market out of used Festools, at least for a month or so.  Only saving grace is that the price increases also raise the value of used stuff.  I've got an 850 planer I'm looking to unload and this recon sale is messing with my schedule!

Well the TS75 I think he  said or was it 55 had gone down well one of dem had so my dealer said. I. A few accessories like what I bought the other week for my vac had gone down.   The CXS drill has gone down in price even though the vat has gone up he said a few other things but also mentioned a few things have gone up.

Also 10%of every tool in old systainers aswell.

JMB SPEAK EDITED:

Interesting they list all of the CT22 and CT33 packages with prices dropping, and then the CT26 and CT36 packages with prices going up.

I'm somewhat surprised that the 22 and 33 packages are still out there, but I guess that might capture clearance/closeout in progress?

I have to agree with gbruzze1.  Especially considering the wait that some of us had to learn if our recon orders would be filled: after a few days of anticipation and thinking about the tool you'd ordered, you sort of end up "owning" it, mentally, and if you miss out on the sale you're probably going cave and order new.  What's an extra $100 once you've talked yourself into spending $400 on something that you - now - have already made room for in the shop?  Some of this may not have been completely by design, though.  I'm not sure that the home office was planning to hold us in suspense for so long, or to need to work staff on nights and weekends to get it done.

Anyone who thinks that the recon program was some devious setup to make people buy Festools at the reconditioned price or full price for those that didn't get what they wanted is paranoid and ridiculous.  Every member of the FOG should know that you're pre-programmed to purchase more Festools no matter what event is going on due to the subliminal messaging service (SMS) that Shane enacted known as "The Software Change" some months ago.  Just open your wallet and deal with it.  There is no escape!
