Hey Folks,

The new catalogs will soon be delivered to we dealers.  When I get them in, I will be sending one with most orders as well as by email request.
And the nice thing is that these catalogs have the prices included inside, not on a separate price list. :)

Just a note... The US catalog will, Canadian will not.

Wow, those up North can't catch a break. Tools cost more, the weather is colder and now having to use that non-price catalog! Oh, the indignities. ;)

Are those prices exclusive of your state taxes ? (I'm just a curious Aussie)

Festool never lists taxes in their catalogs; I don't know any company that does. Those are the end customer prices, exclusive of tax.

Kev - There's no standard sales tax rate common across all states so it would be very difficult to list that for any supplier.  Some states like Delaware and Alaska have no state sales tax and other states like California have a 7.5% sales tax.  Most other states fall somewhere in between (mine is 5%).  The states with no sales tax typically make it up with higher property taxes, corporate taxes, or have an abundance of natural resources (e.g. oil) where they can generate revenue from.  Here's the list to show you how varied it is:  http://www.taxadmin.org/fta/rate/sales.pdf

Also, there's also no national VAT.

Festool always has nice catalogues with delicate pictures of the machines and people who use them.
For Europeans there are 2 new products:
1. MFT/3-Basic Table, which is not available in Europe.
2. SYS-Toolbox 2, it's only available from Protool, no Festool yet.
You lucky ones!

But I also saw some new sander types (maybe for left-handers?).

I always wonder how these mirrored pictures appear in catalogues, the label on the machine is correct but the machines itself are mirrored.
It's the same with the picture of the TS 55 saw in the header of the FOG.
Somebody must have noticed it and try to correct it with DTP-software.

Ya, but hockey's back so we are good  [wink]

I saw the prices for the various Carvex models.  Are they available now or do you have a date for them?

Shane,

There are some differences between 2013 price change that posted on dealer's sites and 2013 catalog price. For example Sys mini 460853 promised $20, catalog states $25, Sys maxi $95 and $110. I think there are more inconsistencies. Which price is right?

Jesse,

I'm pretty certain that any and all Carvex accessories will not be available for sale until the Carvex becomes available.

So I notice the new TS55R is in the catalog and at $35 dollars more. So when could a person order one. I just posted a question in another area if I should wait. If it is available soon I will wait.

I think we are going to have to wait until Festool gives us a launch date.

Browsing through the catalog makes me realize that your festools are approx 20% cheaper then here in Sweden even if you add on say 7% tax on your prices. Eg. a kapex here is more like 2000$  [mad]
I'm glad for you all over there, or am I missing something?

I think the most exciting thing in the catalog is the Sys Roll Cart finally coming stateside. Can anyone tell me when i can order it? Please!!!!!  [big grin]

Keen eye, there, Victor.  There were three price discrepancies in the list originally provided to dealers. They are (US prices shown):

497567 Empty Systainer SYS 5 $86.00
460853 Empty Systainer SYS Mini     $25.00
490701 Empty Systainer SYS Maxi $110.00

These are the correct prices, not what you may see on dealers' sites that may not have updated their pricing since the discrepancies were communicated.

And new product availability is kept up-to-date in this thread:

http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tools-accessories/eta-for-new-product-introductions-in-na/

No dates have been announced for the TS 55 R, new Sys-stuff, or Carvex beyond what I have listed in that thread.

Any way I could get a Sys Roll Cart sent to me from festool for early US testing? want to make sure its good for all of the contractors before you roll it out!  [tongue] [big grin] [drooling] [thanks]
