Hi you lot... back agin with an Aussie All Brand Festooly invention using old bits and pieces in a new kind of way.
First I bought a slab of ready made black laminate board for $100 (2400 x 600 x 30mm ) and some SAWHELPER brackets $90 ( for 2 of them) from Multiblades , I had some EUREKAZONE saw tracks and some extra EUREKAZONE aluminium table edge profiles and bunch of HDPE plastic ( ended up cutting up all the things I bought over the years from EUREKAZONE ( darn expensive way to have done it shipped to Australia too. ) found out we make the darn stuff here in all sizes... oh well keep the US economy going I say. And I used some KREG fence tracks and KREG stops I had from an old BOSCH drop saw set up.
It worked out great I have 1500mm either side it is completely adjustable to what I want and its very accurate and sturdy and I am happy about using all the old stuff I had hanging around.
I hope you get some ideas from this, and the EUREKAZONE stuff is cheap if you live the States, I just wanted to share the idea to give others ideas too, I have picked up lots of tips and ideas from this forum so I like to share my things. You know some guys spend there whole life making the perfect workshop and never making anything other than the workshop itself...lol [eek]. Me I love to get out there and make stuff for my kids houses and I am excited these days as every thing is very accurate, something I always wanted to do was to be accurate......FESTOOL has help me no end with all my making ;D
Sorry for crappy photos but I just took pics in the night it's been working really well
