New Angle grinder 18v or DSC diamond cutting system

Regarding the cordless grinders about to be released in the uk.

Can anyone enlighten me as to weather the diamond cutting system can be used with normal grinding disks to cut metal,

i.e Can it be used like a normal grinder.

I am very aware of the potential dangers extracting hot metal im just curious as to weather i can buy the free hand cutter and use it for metal.

It is just a normal angle grinder. The DSC has a special hood for better dust extraction when cutting tiles, but you can remove it and fit any shroud you want. I'd advice you not to use the shroud for dust extraction when cutting metal unless you have the spark trap for your vac.
