I have recently needed in to Axmnster Store in High Wycombe, while liking at a thing or two, I have spotted with my eagle eye that some of their screwdriver bits and bit sets are now compatible with Festool Centrotec chucks as well as traditional ¼" quick change chucks. But that isn't all. Their UJK Technology pocket hole drill bit is also compatible, being made by Austrian company called "Fisch". This company has its own range that Axminster keep stock of and allot of it has now been produced to be compatible with Centrotec System. Amongst other things are Axminster "Axcalible" range forstner bits. This is of cause new to Axminster and prices are still relativly high. For example Pocket hole drill bit cost a whopping £26 but their 150mm TX20 driver bits are only £5.79 for a pack of 3
I hope this helps for those who look for something that Festool don't make. I would like to see flat bits with centrotec compatible shanks.
Regards
EV.
