New Bandsaw.

I've just acquired a new bandsaw. It's a Hammer  N4400  which I picked up second hand. The guy who sold it went into design.
My old  Electra Beckum Bas 505G is for sale now.
I'd just like  to say  there  is  no comparison  between these two  machines.  Unless  Metabo  have made significant changes  with the latest models though I doubt it.

Very impressed  with the quality. So solid, smooth running fence,  vibration free  and easily moved with the wheel kit.

I should hopefully have some people  coming next week to view  the  BAS 505 G.
I might have  to hide  the N4400 in case  they ask for a  demo  to compare against  the  BAS 505 G.

Congratulations! I've been looking for a second hand N4400 for a while and not found one. I am intending to order a new one in the current promotion (it works out at around £1550 delivered including vat and two blades).

I might buy one or two extensions at the same time (I have an A3-26 I can use them on as well).
