New batteries with HKC bought last year?

I bought an HKC in Feb 19 and I just saw that Festool released new versions of their cordless tools this month. Do the new batteries work with cordless tools from last year and before? Or am I just stuck with the old style batteries forever?

All Festool 18v batteries are compatible with all 18v tools except the sanders which have their own unique battery platform.

How about chargers being interchangeable? Can I use a TCL3 charger to charge Bluetooth or Airstream batteries?  Can I charge BPC 18v batteries in my Airstream or Bluetooth chargers?  I think I know the answer, but would appreciate any info from the FOG group.  Thanks

You can, it is all backwards compatible. The TCL3 doesn't charge as fast as the newer chargers, but it still works.
