Well I bought the new 125. As I had some big work going on and my Rolex 125 after many years has an iffy speed control and will have to go in soon for help. The new sander is so smooth sometimes you do not think it's even sanding. It's not a monster powerful machine but it sands beautiful it's quiet and dust control is amazing. I love it. I always felt festool makes great sanders and vacuums. Now about fixing the kapex and jigsaw and need for the hkc85 in the USA another story.

I bought one too - Merry Christmas to me.  It is light, feels good in my hand, and quiet. The sanding:  like butter.  Smooth.    It reminds me of when I went from a Makita to a Festool - I was impressed with the upgrade.  Now going from my Festool 125 to the brushless sander feels like a similar leap in quality.

Good to hear. I've been wondering how folks were doing with this sander since it came out.

I have the ETS EC 150/3 and I am extremely pleased by its performance. I keep my CT 26 on full power and this sander doesn't even notice! I original purchased this sander for finish work on exotic veneers, but found it works very well on everything, even hardwood end grain with 40 grit abrasives. No matter what I have thrown at this sander, it performs flawlessly. The only thing it can't do is get into corners -aside from that, it's the only sander I need. Definitely the best sander I've ever used!
