OK So i got a new C15 last sunday to replace my 7 years old C12's.I have been using it for the past 3 days.Putting it to work and see if this thing is what is all about.
So far i am not sure if i like it as much as my C12.
Feel a little bit weird in the "screw driving mode"It's like it has a soft start.
And i'm having a hard time adjusting to the slow speed when selecting lower torque.
For the plus side,it has power to drive!  The drill feels light.I also really like the new chuck. The batteries kept on going!!! Really good.
The little light works great,NOW I CAN SEE!!
So for now,i am going to hang on to it for a while and think about keeping it or return it and get new batteries for my old C12.
And i will also get a new chuck.
Does anyone else feels the same about the change of speed/torque?
Did you get use to it?

I can only comment from a C15 perspective and all I can say is if feels very natural and easy to control.

I've never used the old Festool cordless drills, so I can only compare to current and older Hitachi, Makita, Bosch, etc and in comparison to these I really appreciate the C15.

Probably not much help to you I'm sorry.

I went from C12's to the C15's and wouldn't even think of going back.  Heck, just having a light on it makes it that much better than the C12, but I also like the torque settings and switching from screw to drill mode over the C12's.  The only thing negative at first was that it was wider with the 15V batteries.  I have a little harder time maneuvering it into spots as easy as the C12.  It's also though a little more stable standing up due to the wider foot print.  It's hard to imagine someone not wanting to hang on to it.
