That is the only item I wanted from the installers kit!

You'll never have to wait for Granat paper again for your RS2E if you think about it.....

True. Neither will my grandchildren.

For a DIYer like me, this is total overkill. A 25 sheet pack would still be a lot for me, but much more reasonable. I was expecting 10 sheet packs like for the Rubin.

Completely understand. If anything changes - you can bet I'll let you know.

@Heckman,

You should see if any other foggers are interested in splitting an assorted number of grits...that would certainly make it more affordable...the shipping would be free to one person and split up the packs and ship away, split the shipping... Done deal!  Just a thought!

I'll do you one better - as long as we can get enough FOG'ers to take the 50/100 per grit I'll split them up and ship USPS flat rate envelope...Just a thought....That would be the least expensive shipping charge I believe. It will keep the quantities down and the shipping cost to you guys at a minimum. Obviously, it may take a little while longer because I'll have to order it in from Festool and not drop ship it, but it's just a thought. Please let me know if I can help facilitate that for you all!

Whatever we can do to help! We're happy to split shipments to whomever pays says it should go. We'll get the buyer and receiver tracking info as well. Hope this helps soften the blow a bit....

That's great, Peter! I guess I'll start.

For my current project, I only need 80 and 120 grits. (I'm planning to use the RO 125 for finer work.) I would consider 180 and 220 grits too if that's necessary. Preferred quantity: 10 each. 20 or 25 each would be okay too.

What do you say, guys? Anyone else willing to split some packs?

Ed, thanks! Let's hope we can get others on board with this. I'll make a spreadsheet showing who wants what grit and quantities to keep things easy for tracking. I'll be on the lookout for others, either posting here, by a pm, or by email. Thanks guys!

Eric, thanks for the order, and it was good to catch up a bit this morning. Let me know when you're coming by - I want to make sure I'm here to shake your hand! I just received the order confirmation from Festool this morning and it looks like it's ready to ship. I'll email tracking info when Festool gets it out the door!
