New Compact Cleantec 4.5l (one gallon) Vac.

We need these in Canada!
I would buy one tomorrow!!
So convenient looking. Want one!!
Festool get IT done!!!!!!!

One of the more useful aspects of the tool is the availability of long-life (reuseable) bags.

Yay!  I'm pretty fed up with the outrageous pricing of their disposables!

Aren't the long life bags for the other CTs available in OZ?

I'm gonna ask for this a lot until it happens here in Canada.
Why are we the "poor cousins" in festools eyes?
Is it that hard to engineer the products to get csa approval?
Cmon festool! Serve your market!! NAINA is DUMB. It has to stop if you are to gain the full trust/acceptance of the MASSIVE North American market.

I really need to see one of these, was thinking of getting another midi as a second extractor (have one already)... Still am. Might put a shoulder strap on it. When someone gets chance can you get a picture of the midi and compact on a bench next to one another, festool only have picture next to the CT26.

Just my opinion here, but my guess is that they will come to NA and to Canada. And I am betting that will happen on a faster time line than it has with other tools.  I am also betting that asking for it repeatedly won't make it happen any sooner.

No inside knowledge , just guess work on my part.

I can't wait for it to arrive either, looks very handy with new tool stack and load out options.

I'm thinking about ordering one from uk. I'm not sure what would be involved in converting the electrical over. But I'm always up for a challenge.

EDIT> fixed quote box

looks great definitely in the market for one. I was going to get a midi for site work but this could be better.

is it mains power only or battery as well
