New cordless tools fall 2025

A glitch in the matrix in this thread…. Am I the only one who sees the paradox in Hawkeye looking at an inconspicuous picture and seeing the cordless domino?
That's why it's Hawkeye and not Radar O'Reilly - I would've heard that Domino coming days in advance before they even dropped that pic ;)

What I find weird is that nobody noticed that they glued that recip saw to the floor! How can it stand like that? o_O

There is also a MFK accessory kit coming.

Ahaaaa... and they stripped the MFK 700 EQ-Plus from the parallel guide and dust cap.
578061 was replaced by 578715
Looks like the contents of that accessory kit all fit in the Systainer of the Plus version.

But really... the MFK 700 EQ-Plus is now 600 bucks (€, incl. 21% VAT) and the accessory kit alone is ... 475 o_O?

I see first German etailer has it for 17% below MSRP, available from halfway September.

There is also a Systainer with D150 Granat net. Niiice.
The planer has some kind of accessory to put a 45 degree chamfer on a piece of wood if you buy the set version.
You could always do that with the groove in the base. But this makes for way easier guiding yeah.

Looks like the new fence system, with 2 pairs of paddles, is coming to the corded DF500 as well. Why that wasn't included in the 100 year "special" version, is well, beyond me.

100% agreement! If you want to make a splash in a pool, make a big one. Along with that, throw in a TSC 60 in a blue Systainer.

Thinking a little bit more, ALL of these major tool changes should come in their own blue Systainer, now that'd generate some enthusiasm. ;)

It's interesting to look at the new 1.6 kerf blades. Not only are they thinner but the tooth geometries are different along with the tooth spacing. In each case, here's a comparison of the old 1.8 kerf blade vs the same new 1.6 kerf blade. Also interesting that Festool is recommending these for use on the TSC 55 K saw.

I got to have a play with the new cordless tools today and they did all feel nice.

A few things I noticed on the cordless domino (may have been mentioned in the videos).

The height lock now locks both sides of the fence which makes it feel reassuringly solid.

The lever you lift to release the head is now green, (it was black.....ok dark blue) which I'm sure will sit better with all our OCD's as we know anything on a Festool that does something should be green!

The height scale is still the same as the original DF500, I thought Festool might have taken this opportunity to make it read the same as the 700 as in showing distance from underside of fence to centre of mortise......maybe it's just me who having both Dominos gets confused sometimes.
