Had a play today.
Looks great although will need some Hose modification to fit separator.
Neat feature with hose chip/label that tells machine which diameter hose hooked up.
Touch screen feels really robust and should help solve the issues of dust working its way into electronics.

Dimensions, pretty much the same as existing midi, sorry didnt measure it but you can guage from the seperator on top.
Lever is cleaning device, block nozzle, hit lever and clean out filter and bag.

All in all a very neat bit of kit and the M class coimng out around £500 list but guessing this will be slashed immediately by the usual suspects..  ::)

Im noticing it also seems to have the ability to plug the house into the exhaust port for blowing use.... That's always appreciated every now and then.. Like blowing up an air bed in about 5secs with my home based CTL-SYS last month :)

Indeed Sir and its jolly powerfull! [big grin]
The suction also seems noticeably more powerfull than previous but i'm sure Peter will be able to check this in due course.. [laughing]

My 7 yo MIDI fell out of my truck and cracked the hose garage. Making me think about dealing with it, retiring it to the garage and getting this guy when it comes out.

Can you chime in on more features? I don’t see a touch screen on it, did you mean buttons with digital feedback?

sorry i suppose its not actually "touchscreen" more touch button. ;)

Looks awesome, how does the bluetooth hose work, does it need the module at the end of the hose still like the other vacs?

There are two ways you can trigger extraction with the bluetooth module (not specific to the new CTM Midi) and they are via the module at the end of a hose (or anywhere else you put it) or with one of the Festool battery platforms that has bluetooth support.
