This is EXCELLENT!!!   The chart alone on the second page is worth its weight in gold!   And, I had no interest in Vlies until I saw the pics on page 10.

The Abrasives brochure is a proper Festool.  With its publication the company is now not just equal to other abrasive manufacturers in information provided, but better than most.  And, like the tools, the brochure not only works well, but looks darned good, too.

Although it's obviously a sales brochure, the information is excellent as a reference.  Last night, I read it through completely (actually twice).  After reading it, I realized how little I know about sandpaper and that I'd made some purchase mistakes...

I only wish it had been available a few months ago when I stocked up on paper for my RO150.    For example, the place where I bought the paper have very competant people, but they did not have a lot of info on Festool paper.  So I bought Rubin.  Wrong move.  Saphire would have been a much better choice for my needs.  And, after reading about Vlies, I realize that it might be the perfect "paper" for my deck work. 

And, I just received an order from Bob yesterday!  Oh well, I need more stuff anyway.
