On Festool Germany you can find the following new products:
1. Carvex PSC 400 Li 18 jigsaw
2. Centrotec Montagepaket
3. Centrotec Ratchet-set
4. twinBOX bits
5. T 18+3 cordless drill
6. CXS (10,8V) cordless drill
7. WCR 1000 Workcenter
8. Systainer T-Loc

At Festool Service you can now download pdf examples of T-Loc systainer labels.
You can also add a personal/company logo and two lines of text.
When enlarged printed on selfadhesive paper/polyester they can also be used for the current systainers.
Maybe somebody can download them all and place them on the FOG. At least if that's allowed?

All looks very nice and some we already expected one of these days.

But the new Centrotec Montagepaket comes at a ridiculous price (415 euros).
So what's the main difference between the new and older versions to justify the high price?

Hasn't the centrotec set always been expensive though?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but does anyone know if Festool plans to stop supporting the current type of systainer? As in 3 years down the line I want to buy a sysport and suddenly I can't because I have the old style systainers and Festool only make stuff for the new type.

I'm just trying to figure out if it is worth jumping on the band wagon as I am looking at purchasing at least more sanders. If they do stop support I might as well hold off until they come out in T-lock.

I really like the Label/Card idea. Very well thought out. I laughed when I say Festool saying that they recommend using the "plastic protection" for the cards and they reference a order number. They are going to charge us an arm and a leg now for literally a piece of plastic. :D

Anyway at least one thing came right. My Afrikaans is useful for once.  [big grin] I managed to mission through the German with my hammer of Afrikaans and then discovered I could just use googel translate...  [doh]

The Centrotec 2009 Montagepaket only costs around 280 euros in Holland and Germany.
The new one costs 135 euros more, that's a plus of 48%.

I should not know why the new T-Loc systainers don't fit the old style Sys-Port.
At least you can choose the drawer distances yourself.
They have the same dimensions as the old ones. Only the locking system and the lid are different.

From now on all the new Festools will be delivered with the new T-Loc systainers.
Like the T18+3, CXS drills and the Carvex Li-18 jigsaw.
And in the future probably all the Festool machines will be delivered in the T-Loc systainers.

And yes a ratchet set is (for most of us) very low on the wish list. Most carpenters don't use a ratchet set that often.
Besides the fact that there are many manufacturers who produce good ratchet sets.

Looks like Festool dropped the ball again on the Centrotec set. Over $500 for a drill bit accessory kit. We discussed this Lebanon with the old big kit, great kit just too much money to justify for that type of accessory. Buy that or a new Rotex. Seems like the Centrotec set would lose almost every time. The euro guys must really think and work differently than here in the US. Those guys must be buying those sets, right?
The bs box, don't know about that, seems kind of useless and prone to getting lost.
I'm sure I'll be in the minority here but the ratchet set might not be bad. I do various types of component installs from time to time. Those often require various socket and wrench sizes for bolts, etc. A systainer socket set would be handy. The socket set in my Centrotec set gets used for motorcycle work. Depending on the price, I'll buy it. Another trip to Germany may be in order.
Really think about the Carvex.
