New Festool Dealer, Professional Paint Center

I just noticed that we now have a local Festool Retailer in Northern California.  The Professional Paint Center appears to be an independently owned Benjamin Moore Store is now carrying a line of Festool products in Dublin, Ca and Walnut Creek, Ca.

This is a new line for these folks and while they have a nice display so far, they don't have any demonstration area or tools.  Since our local Woodcraft shut down last year it's nice to have a Festool outlet within a few miles to but that needed item you didn't know was low in your shop inventory and you need it today.

We have something similar about a 1/4 mile from our house in Denver.  It's a Guiry's paint/hobby center but they only stock the sander and ct lines.  Nice when I need a bag or some paper but otherwise...meh.

You'll see more of them in the future if the Paint Div. of Festool keeps getting the line spread out in Paint Stores. As noted though, it's strictly Sanders and Extractors for the most part that are stocked. They also have accessories like the Blast Gate and the Nozzles for the Vacs besides the bags. What's funny for me is that I pass two Paint dealers on the way home now, and they're within 5 mins or less of each other since they're on the same street...... [big grin]

The dealer gave me a new catalog from Festool which features the sanders and extractors.  I haven't asked but I think they can get the full line of Festool products but, just having a close source for Granat sanding discs is great for me when I forget that my shop inventory got low in one grit or another.
