Strange because the TP-DSC-AG 125 FH accessory is on the UK website (#200002).
But no machine itself indeed!

There is non of the DSC/DSG machines available in the UK?
Why is that, some of them are ex. Protool machines and were available in the UK?

I was told by a festool rep that if you are in the UK and want something that is not normally available in the UK but is available elsewhere in Europe get in touch with festool and they can normally get it for you.

Just curious, how much Hardie have you cut with the saw and have you had any issues with the dust getting into and causing problems with the motor, brushes or bearings? I'm assuming you always use the vacuum on the saw when cutting Hardie.

I'm an always "cut with dust extraction" type of guy no matter what product I'm cutting. If the hose falls off during a cut I'll stop and put it back on before continuing the cut.

Miles of Hardie, drywall and plaster. Biggest issue is wipe the base and track before cutting wood. No saw failure of any type.

Festool markets a TS-55 and TS-75 blade for fiber cement products, not available here;

To drive the purest nuts-----I've cut Hardie on a Kapex.

Thanks for the info/post on the plunge saw blades, what blade do use in the Kapex?
Also what dust extractor do you use and do you do anything special to it?

I used the solid surface blade in the Kapex. I believe elsewhere you can get a blade for fiber cement for the Kapex.

Which ever CT I have available at the time. Nothing special, the newer ones with the fleece bags work better than my 22.

how would one go about cutting a 45 bevel with this?

[member=37561]#Tee[/member]

Carefully!!! You'd need to create a guide IMO if you wanted to to get a consistent and accurate edge. Further, the shroud protrudes to the right of the cutter so you'd need to allow for that (not to mention it would greatly reduce the depth of a 450 bevel cut).

With a tile saw with a sliding table. The grinder would NOT be the tool for be beveling a tile.

sighs even a regular circular saw have bevel capabilities. this saw reminds me of a grinder free hand type used for cutting away welds. i want precision on the first cut esp on masonry  :'(
