New Festool HEPA CT 15 Only $349 - Pre-Order Now, Ships April 1st!

I think I would rather have that than the CT-SYS, which I bought about 5 months ago. :-(

CT-SYS works fine but for the same money roughly I think the CT 15 would be a better fit
for my needs and had it been available last Fall when I bought the CT-SYS I would have
gone that route.

Lots of plusses over the CT-SYS-
-external filter replacement
-Bluetooth tool connection
-better (as in easier to use) hose and attachment storage
-picks up water ? Didn't know ANY Festool vac was rated for that.

I really like that hose garage with the lid that latches down tight over the hose and the newer style Systainer T-loc latch. My CT-36 uses the classic Systainer latches, not the T-loc. Wish they would offer that for my CT-36 and also one for the CT-SYS.

That is 1 drawback to not having the info until the day of the launch. We can't really make recommendations based on what is coming because we don't know until about 2 minutes before we make the announcement. There are benefits to the CT-SYS too being able to stack on the MW 1000 is pretty huge, if you use that.

Just an FYI on your comments, the CT 15 is not a Bluetooth compatible dust extractor and the top will not accept the hoses, it is smaller than the newer CT MINI/MIDI so the hose straps on top (see picture below). All of the Festool CTs other than the CT-SYS have "Wet Filters" that you'll want to install in place the the HEPA filters before you do any wet pick-up.

And for the CT 36, the newer hose garage does have the T-Loc integrated, but not the closed lid, you can find that here: Festool Hose Garage T-Loc for CT 26/36/48

Thanks Ryan for your reply.

I see how the hose stores on the CT15 now, I was looking at the CT-Mini.

Surprised at no BT capability, not even as an accessory.

I was not aware that wet filters were available for my CT-36, I thought it was dry material pickup only. Don't know that I would want to put water through it though, that's why I've hung on to my old Craftsman 32 Gal. wet/dry vac for the last 25 years, it great for wet pickup.

No option for Bluetooth on the CT 15 that we are aware of yet.

Yes, my Ridgid 5 gallon works great for wet pick-up! Used the CT MIDI in an emergency once but forgot to take out the HEPA filter, expensive mistake but better than a basement floor rip out!
