[NEW] Festool Limited Edition Systainer³ Organizer Centrotec Set (US)

Bummed that they did not release the “Assembly package SYS3 M 89 ORG CE-SORT (#576804)’ here in the States.

^^ This.  Many, many, many times over.

When I saw the subject line in my e-mail this evening, I was pretty excited.  Then I saw the picture, and I was less excited.  Then I found the old link to the new European version, and I felt betrayed.  Granted, I'm used to it by now, but it still stung nonetheless.

I know Shane and his team have nothing to do with it so I'm not upset with him, but I would gladly give up the blue systainer and all of those little cubbies for the contents of the 104-piece set.

On the bright side, the Centrotec imperial drill bits in this kit are something to get excited about. If I'm not mistaken, these are not generally available and only show up through limited releases (like this one).

Festool really is reinventing the drill bit, I guess.  [big grin]

I ordered the 576804 in the middle of June from my dealer and was told yesterday I should have it next week.

I think Toolnut has blocked Europeans from viewing its website.

[member=70363]MikeGE[/member] yes, we block traffic outside of the US. Nothing personal against our international friends. You'd be surprised how many inquiries we would get per day asking if we could ship abroad even when our site had info stating that we only ship to the US. Additionally, it's an added layer of security since hackers often originate from North Korea, China, and other countries.

I am always bummed by the stuff we are not allowed to have here, and still never have gotten a good reason why?
