Hey all.
As many users of the MFT, it's a love hate relationship. Festool's fence mount, while very neat, is over engineered, and under
performs in my opinion. I wanted a ridged and reliable mounting system, that leaves maximum space left on the MFT surface for cross cutting, and assembly, Here is my solution. The mounting plates are designed to maximize table depth, increase rigidity, and work with a wide range of aluminum fence extrusions. They also Allow the MFT to be used very close to a wall, without limiting usable crosscut capacity.
