Working all day to install new displays and new work area for the Festool line at Timer Woodworking in Mesa. I have been pushing for a long time and it's finally coming together. I designed the Layout and helped install all the fixtures. Should be in full swing by Friday when Lie Nielsen comes to Timber for their Annual visit and show this Friday and Saturday. JAN 8 & 9th.

If you are in near Mesa AZ, come out for Lie Nielsen this weekend to check out their great hand tools and then check out the New Test center.

Looks really nice. I will try to get by there next weekend.

Don,

If you make it out, say hi. I will be working the Festool area, probably in a Festool shirt with a curled mustache. lol Always like to meet fellow FOG members.

Looks great! Much more well stocked than my local dealer. Hope sales are good for you guys.

Thanks, Looking for have them get in a wider array of accessories to have on hand.

Personally, I'd swing the boom arm legs in ... that's an accident waiting to happen in an open space!

Good Idea, Will get on that today. That thing was probably the most difficult assembly of Festool I have done. The pictorially directions are a little hard to get.

Very well done, does Festool have merchandise lay out plans for dealers or is it up to the individual dealer. Brings back memories of build outs that we did when I was with a retail architectural design firm.

I worked on the layout. I don't know if they have any plans. I think it's up to the dealer and the Store on how the displays are filled in. I drew it up in CAD first, I have a background in architectural and Interior design. On one my past lives.

It was very interesting work back then. Amazing how layout and merchandising can effect the bottom line. The firm I worked with would contractually guaranty a percentage increase in sales per square foot. Again very well done, much better then my local dealers.

That's interesting...as much as they try to control every other aspect of their business, I'd have thought that they would have very stringent guidelines as to how their product is displayed.

Nice job BTW...

Nice job. Was going to make the drive for the Lie Nielsen event, so this will be a bonus.  Thanks for the effort.

Yea Kev we wouldn't want you to not watch your step starring at those tools and trip bite your tongue off while drooling over those tools
