Thanks to all the help I got on my first post about which vacuum and sander I should buy the deed is done. Bought a midi extractor  an RTS 400 sander and some brilliant 2 paper. I know the DTS was recommended by some people but after my first post I remembered I had a cheap  detail sander which will do for now. At the moment main use will be door frames, door panels, some cabinet work and a bit of wall sanding.  For the benefit of the UK members I ordered them from www.powertool-supplies.co.uk ( for some reason link not attaching, probably the idiot typing this) They are selling the midi cheaper than the mini at present £215 inc vat. You don't get the "free" cleaning kit other dealers are doing but can buy for £27. I bought one as it comes in a Sys 1 t loc. An empty Sys 1 is around the £33. Not bought from this company before but at the midi price with free postage thought I would risk it.
Now I just have to sneak in another sander order. Can a forum be sued if this leads to matrimonial disharmony?

Hi I bought the dts first and then the rts I pefure the rts, for me it seems to be more usefull and its great for edge sanding, all you need now is the ets150/5
and you are set..

+1 for power tool-supplies.  Ordered my recent kit from there, and so far they've been simply brilliant - very helpful, and did me a cracking price.

You can't go a wrong with any festool sander.
