Hi. Peter, a Moderator here. Those behind the scenes can reply in the classified area. If you want to converse with someone reading ads in the classified area you will need to do so either via Personal Message of email.
Years ago the decision was made to not allow discussions in the classifieds due to the arguments that ensued.
But you can reply to a thread you started in the classifieds so that you can update pricing, give additional information, etc.
