Hi everyone,
Just decided to join and introduce myself. I'm an amateur woodworker/furniture maker working out of my small garage in Belgium. Did a night school course on furniture making and have made some of our furniture myself. I would like to start creating things for other people too but I feel that I must improve a bit more (or it's just a confidence thing...).
At the moment my Festool machine collection is the Domino 500, TS55 and the OF1010 which I all bought second hand for a nice price. I've also bought some Festool branded jigs with varying degrees of satisfaction.
Another one of my big machines is an 80's Robland combination machine.
If I missed anything, feel free to ask!

Thank you, I hope to learn some things.
The project I'm most proud of is the tv cabinet. I'm jealous of all the american woodworkers that see walnut as almost a cheap wood. For this project only the legs and edge banding are "full" wood, all else is veneered mdf.

Welcome to the Forum!

I am intrigued, which jigs did you buy? :)

Well, the ones I'm satisfied with are ofcourse the guide rail (which my saw didn't have when I bought it), the FS-WA/90° (although it seems it has a minor deviation but that was probably just my setup) and the copy rings.
The jig that works but I'm not 100% satisfied of is the WA-OF arm in combination with the UP-OF to trim edgebanding. It "works" but I feel that the router is still a bit heavy for it and I also can't seem to get the micro adjusting working. It just doesn't seem like a tight fit and that there's always a few mm of play in it.

hello, I too have noticed a small constant deviation of the track (from 1400 onwards) using FS-WA / 90 ° will it be a coincidence or a defect? Perhaps the stop is not long enough to guarantee the orthogonality of the track

Welcome! That’s an excellent set of tools. You’ll be able to make almost anything with them.
