Hello all, been lurking in the shadows for a while now. You all have dispensed so much information that I have never really had a reason to post. But I'm making my presence now.

Started my habit with a Rotox 150 and Midi I bought from a local paint store. Then came the TS75 and rail. Next was the Planex and CT 36 AC.

I'm looking to add the Domino to my mix soon so I can deliver cabinets in a knockdown format for easier installation.

Cheers
Justin

Funny how so many of us have got started with a sander and a vac....
Welcome Justin ! yeah look forward to seeing what you’re working on from time to time

The sanders performances are definitely the gateway drug to Festool addiction.

I had used some Festool goodies on a cabinet install, with the owner telling me about the system. So when my sander broke on a big job, I did some research.... Now I'm deep down the rabbit hole...  Haven't updated my signature, because the systainer stack keeps growing too fast.

I've only just entered the world of Festool sanders (with a Rotex), though my 'gateway drugs' were a CSX, the Centotec sysytem and the KALII lamp.

Somewhat oddly (perhaps) I discovered Festool via the Systainers, having begun a collection of those some time before I realised that a) other brands used them too, and b) that Festool actually made tools as well...

[welcome] to the FOG. If You keep coming here, Im sure you'll find many ways to seperate $$ from your bank account  [big grin]

You just took your first step down the slippery slope.

Remember your in good company.

The biggest problem with that slippery slope is that Festool keeps throwing grease onto it.  I thought that i was done as the only thing left on my list was the STL, got that from the recon site $100.00 off.  Now they have that new cart/work table, I'm hoping it's NAINA until much later in 2019 or better yet not until 2020.
