i have a new kapex mitre saw with an extra new blade and crown stops dont wanna sell it but i have to i have two of them this saw is in perfect condition asking $1000 or b/o. a money back garantee is also included i can email pics to anyone thats interested

Thanks for replying, if I lived closer I'd come take a serious look, but I don't feel comfortable making a transaction of this size through the mail.

Thanks again
Loren

A picture of the actual unit would be good if you want to sell this to someone through the mail, sight unseen.

I would never buy anything let alone for a grand without even seeing a picture.

Plus you are new here with 6 posts so many guys do not know you.

Offering a money back guarantee for at least 3-7 days would also help to sell it faster through the mail, of course with non - refundable shipping.

as for you nick i told you the saw is brand new. thats fine if you wouldnt buy anything through the mail for a 1000 i thought i would post it here before i went to ebay i want the saw to go to a festool lover like me and of course there is a money back garantee the saw is new theres nothing wrong with it not a scratch

Now wait a second , I have spent over 5000.00 in one on line purchase and have made over 500 ebay purchases and over 350 Amazon purchases. I buy EVERYTHING online except food, pay my bills online and have not even written a check in 4 years.

I know what you said, but I do not know you and I see no picture.

I do not think I am being unreasonable at all, taking a picture takes about a minute and now your resistance gives me even less trust in the transaction.

I don't want it I had my share of the Kapex, but the guys here are like family. I have been here one year now and feel like if one of them got burned that I would be getting burned.

Thanks I have a neighbor that may be interested I will have him come on to the forum  :)

cool. nick i just took pics on my camera and i cant seem to get them on this site

You probably need to shrink the pictures down to 125K.

You can get many free programs if you do not have one available.

Do you need a link for one?

Here is one:

http://irfanview.com/

Just get the picture into the program after downloading and installing the software, then hit save as and move the slider at the top to like 30% , save, than check the file size of the picture by right clicking on the picture and clicking properties to see if the file is small enough. If not do it again.

If you need help many guys can direct you to different programs and ways to get it done.

Nick

I am sure you already know this but I found that IrfanView program to be the simplest darn program for reducing the size of a picture...easy download, install and no learning curve.

Yeah it works well and there are tons of options to modify the pictures and "add on"(plug ins) programs for it too.

I've been using paint program to reduce the size of the pictures.

Robert...givethe IrfanView a try...I think you will like it..as Nick pointed out...it has more power than just that...I like that I cacn set the output file size on a group of photos at once and then output them.  Plus, you can "batch" file name for a project and have your photos all named the same and it can be made to count your photos...great for recording a project build.  Take a look at my gallery picture file names.

Barry,  it's apparent you are a "power user" of IrfanView compared to me.  I can do with it the basics needed to get photos posted on FOG, but did not know of those settings and group possibilities.  I have been reworking my photos one at a time and saving them one at a time.  Would you please do a little tutorial and post it in the technical section of FOG?  If you could do it like Brice Burrell's tutorial on how to post photos, that would be great.  I am referring to his post in this thread:http://festoolownersgroup.com/index.php?topic=3388.0

That's a good idea Dave!  I will get right on that.  You will see that it is actually very easy...I couldn't believe how easy it was and nice output / filename when I was done.  Thanks for the suggestion.
