Those batteries look like beasts as well, fine on a table saw though.
Metabo seem to have taken things up a notch and are going to the next level with their cordless tools, it's good to see.

Are metabo brushless?

On a job at the moment  with  about  7 other guys  and  the cordless  impact  drivers  cover 4 makes.

Milwaukee.

I own the metabo.  Been using them  all though to get an idea  of  what they are like  and the Milwaukee  by  far packs the biggest punch.
The Milwaukee  is  "brushless". Does that have a bearing  on the torque?

Dropped  my metabo  (ltx 200) off a 15  foot  high scaffold unto concrete  and it  survived.  Just missed a guys head.

They only have one brushless impact tool, it's an impact wrench, dubbed the SSW 18 LTX 400 BL (which is 400 Nm brushless).

Their impact driver is the SSD 18 LTX 200, and it's not really the greatest tool. It has okay power (150 Nm), but hopefully it's due for a refresh soon. The 400 BL is only slightly heavier than the 200, and with the 12-speed settings, it really has more control than the 200. If I'm not in super tight spaces, I'll usually grab the 400 + the 1/4" hex adapter over the 200.

[member=13058]Kev[/member] I got one, they're pretty nice. Still waiting on the 6.2Ah LiHD, but the 3.1 does everything and then some...at least for the current tools they have out there. No more need to go to the larger battery to achieve full output (they actually uprated a lot of their tools w/ the new battery; i.e. the 400 BL does 325 ft-lbs, or 440 Nm).
