Hi guys just a quick question got my new midi from my dealer two weeks ago it's great but it has the old sys locking clips
And I just seen one with the t lock the old ones are a pain what should I do

Latest models are Tloc so unless it was made clear that it was older model I'd swap it.
You get 15days no quibble anyway.
I have the old tabs model and it is a pain but does work with Tloc systainers.

Siis dundee there in Kirkcaldy aswell I thinks the guy there nows a bit more about the brand I did say it to them sound it not have a t loc  and he said that he didn't think so [mad] I find oh more tomorrow

If you got a good deal on the Midi but still want the T-LOC top, it's available from Festool as part number 499748. In the US it was less than $50 last time I checked.

I only know because I'm considering doing it to my Midi. Funny how great minds think alike, huh?

If you're buying new, there's zero reason to be satisfied with anything that's not the newest T-loc version

If you got a good deal on the Midi but still want the T-LOC top, it's available from Festool as part number 499748. In the US it was less than $50 last time I checked.

The T-Loc top does not fit the old Midi.

Alex, are you SURE? I don't have the newer top yet, but I've been assured by numerous folks at Festool USA that it will indeed fit.

Now, if there is a difference in this part from the USA version to International versions I can't say...

My newer Midi has both the T-Loc and Classic latches. It also has the progressive 27-32 mm hose.

When you look at the curve where the black hose garage meets the grey part, you see they are inverted. I don't think the USA version is any different.

I can confirm the new US T-Loc version is the same as new vac in the photo Alex posted.  I think it would be unlikely the new hose garage would fit the old version.  Maybe they do fit but I wouldn't put money on it.

Cheers guys spoke o he dealer and he said he didn't know bt is going to speak to there main guy who deals with the festool stuff
