New Parf Product Now on Sale

Hi Everyone

Over the last year and a bit I have been working with Axminster Tools and Machinery on a completely new dog concept. They have taken the engineering lead and finally we have a brand new Parf product.

We believe that the design and concept are both unique.

To answer the queries above...

I do not now if Axminster have had a chat to anyone in NA yet. I leave the marketing to them. Even if they have it will take a month or more before anything can be put in place.

If you would like to get some then I suggest that you order direct from Axminster. You can shop in US $ on their web site and remember that you will have the price reduced straight away as you will not be liable to the European sales tax (VAT) which is 20%. In many cases that covers the shipping and so you end up with a pretty good deal.

Please note that a real person has to get involved with overseas orders and you may have to wait until working hours in the UK to get a quote for carriage and a bottom line cost.

I don't see the Parf Chamfer tool listed for sale online.

That surprised me too. I will give them a call in the morning but I am sure that you could send an email to them and get something sorted out.

My guess (and it is only a guess) is that they have only made (say) 200 of the chamfer cutters expecting a 20% take-up. But it should be put on the web site.

Just ordered two from Axminster. Great folks to deal with and simply no need to wait till they are available from a US vendor. Anyway, I wanted the chamfer tool as well so I left them a message from the order confirm page asking that they please add the tool to my order.

I already have the Parf jig and dogs (awesome) and have made the first of six 4x5 Multifunction Tops. Of course then I found out about the Qwas Dogs and track dogs (awesome) so I own them now.... And tomorrow I'll find out what the shipping is going to run for a pair sent over the pond....awesome... Lol

You gave up too early - go all the way to the checkout and give your address etc. Then the machine will accept what you have done and hand it to a human who will check the shipping, give you a quote by email and then you can either accept of decline.

If you do not get the message that a human will contact you next then you have exited too early.

I have now discovered that the slight delay getting the Parf Guide System back in stock is that Axminster are installing new equipment in order to increase the production rate and it apparently is only going at the speed of the outside contractor.
